Great jobsite radio July 2, 2008 I purcahsed this radio to use primarily use as a jobsite radio. Before I purcahsed this radio I went and used the display models of the Dewalt, Rigid, Bosch and Makita also. The Milwaukee has noticeably better sound no matter how you set them up. The FM reception also seemed noticeably better. It has a convenient aux. jack so you can connect an ipod or other external source to it. The cord is also convenient as it is a pass through so it doesnt tie up the outlet. I like the fact that it has many nice considerable and usable features and doesnt worry about a bunch of other (just for show) features that you would probably never use. All in all I am extremely happy with my purchase.
great June 4, 2008 great sound easy to operate. if it only had a built in battery charger for the milwaukee bateries it would be perfect
Job site radio May 25, 2008 This is a sturdy, well thought out radio. I use it regularly, and it is very rugged. I also understand why Milwaukie decided not to put a battery charging system in the radio. It would have been more valuable in my book if the radio was a little less fancy, and I could recharge my battery while I listen. Having the radio work off of any Milwaukie tool battery is nice.
Great for work! May 23, 2008 This is perfect for work. Tough, a little heavy , but works great. Love the aux input for my mp3.
Great Product May 4, 2008 I really enjoy this radio, I use at my work where is sits in one spot and everyone there comments on how loud and clear it can get. The option for an mp3 player was the selling point for me. The sound is clear. I don't need the battery but if I find myself in a positon where i do then I have it covered. Great radio for the price
