I have had this router for several months. I have never purchased a reconditioned tool before. When I opened the case I saw a perfectly clean and new looking router. When unwrapping it I noticed an "R" on the tool indicating that is was reconditioned. I love the power and soft start of this router. I use it in a router lift. I will try more reconditioned tools in the future. This is a great router new or reconditioned.
