Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
With this all purpose blade for tables saws you can rip and crosscut 1" 2" rockhards and softwoods resulting in a smooth-as-sanded surface. With 20 DEG face hook, ply-veneers will crosscut with no bottom splinter at moderate feed rates. Double hard and 40% stronger C-4 carbide will give up to 300% longer life between sharpenings. Ends blade changing (one blade does rip, combo and crosscut). Ends second-step finishing. Ends cutting 1/16" oversize to allow for resurfacing. Buy and sharpen one blade instead of 3, (24T rip, 50T combination, 80T crosscut).

5 out of 5 stars Forrest is the best--You get what you pay for!   August 12, 2007

I have been building kitchen cabinets and furniture as well as a fair amount of construction/remodeling for over 30 years. I've tried several manufacturers' blades and until now, was a loyal Freud user. Well, all you need to do is try one of these blades and you realize what you've been missing. The quality of the blade is top notch, but more importantly, the quality of the cuts are far and away the best of any I've used.

I've always used zero clearance inserts on my tablesaw and a zero clearance base on my 7-1/4" circular saw to get a tear-out free cuts. This blade produces so much less tear-out even without a zero clearance device that its amazing. I still use zero clearance devices when cutting plywood or laminates because I'm a perfectionist, but you get the point. I now have these blades on my 10" tablesaw, 7-1/4" circ and 12" mitersaw. I also have their blade stiffener on the tablesaw...you should get that too.

Forrest is now the only brand I'll buy.

Forrest is the best--You get what you pay for!
