Delivering solid performance and serious convenience, DeWalt's heavy-duty, 18-volt, 1/2-inch drill/driver/hammer drill will do up to 1,850 rpm and 20,350 beats per minute, and can produce 400 inch-pounds of maximum sustained torque. The carbide-tipped chuck jaws have excellent bit grip. There's also an automatic spindle lock, as well as an antislip comfort grip. We were especially impressed with the balance of this hammer drill--its T-handle design distributes weight evenly so it's easy to hold, even over long periods of time, and the grips seem to work for people of all different hand sizes. --Jonathon Tudor
